In my career as both a software developer and a systems administrator I have dealt with numerous Operating Systems from Windows 95 through AIX. By far my most favorite OS is Linux – namely the RedHat distribution.
My first RedHat experience came with RedHat 6.0 (Hedwig – released in 1999). Since then I have used or administered every version that has been out. Below is a compilation of some of the tricks that I have learned over the years.
